Finally off Hiatus.

haha.
I declared that I was on Hiatus about an hour ago, after I realized I hadn't written on here for a good long while. My Thanksgiving break was fantastic!
:D
Some of my family and I went down to Southern California to do three college tours and Knott's Berry Farm on Turkey Day, and my dear mother's birthday (the day before Thanksgiving). One day we were in Hollywood, and I was somewhere else, but my mom thinks that she saw Jerry O'Connell standing behind her on the escalator! I LOVE him. He played one of my absolute favorite characters, Woody, in "Crossing Jordan." Unfortunately, that series ended.
:(
Anyway, I wasn't there to verify this possible sighting, but according to her, he was a very pleasant man--a very believable statement.
Knott's Berry Farm was really fun, and I've eliminated two schools from Southern California. USC and Pepperdine are two schools that don't quite fit my personality. I'm a big city girl who likes small learning environment. So, we'll see how everything goes.
Anyway, I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really don't want to go back to school tomorrow. And I got to spend some time with some great friends last night.
:D
Anyway, I'm considering doing home-schooling next semester...just to see how it goes. I always thought I wanted to, but never had the guts to leave my social life at school.
haha...

"Life's like...

an hour glass glued to the table."
-Anna Nalick

So today was not a very good day. Allyse is having jaw surgery and won't be back at school until after Christmas break!
:(
AND, one of my best friends' best friend's dad passed away this morning. It was very sad to hear, because he was like a second father to this friend of mine. And I know the girl, so it was just even sadder. He had pancreatic cancer, but had been improving, until last week...it just really makes me sad. So two of my best friends weren't at school today. I had a Pre-Calculus HP test today that I think I did okay on, I also had a Spanish IV test, and the History test was today...I still have two papers due tomorrow, neither of which are done.
:/
One of them is more than halfway done, though! :)
Tomorrow I'm going over to Allyse's house after school and I'm going to surprise her and make a smoothie for her...because her mouth has to be wired shut for quite some time! I may as well serenade her while I'm there...hahaa...
Also, for Thanksgiving break Julie (other best friend who wasn't at school today) was going to come to Souther California with my family and me to go on college tours and Knott's Berry Farm and all that good stuff, but now she's not coming because the wake is during the week. I'm not gonna lie, I'm a bit bummed just because now my little sister and I are going to bicker the entire time...ulch. Plus, I think it would be more fun having a friend to share all those moments with rather than family, but I"m absolutely not complaining!!! I TOTALLY understand that she would rather stay for the wake and I'm okay with that.
:)
SO I called another friend to see if they would actually be able to come with such short notice, but she already has plans..
:(
Anyway, I guess it has turned into another family vacation...Allyse was supposed to come too, but she had to go and have her surgery!
haha...I know it's out of her hands...
So I have to do one of my papers on Jefferson Davis, and I'm really not feelin it. I would choose math over English or History ANY day. Math can only have one correct answer. I don't have to interpret anything or do anything "in my opinion." I either do it right, or wrong. Cut and dry. It's that simple. For every problem there is an equation. Nothing that you have to read and analyze or comprehend, or know about literary devices and all that jaz.

Okay, really need to be doing homework.
ciao!

peace.

People just have...

talent.
And it never ceases to amaze me!
Example.  My older sister is a graphic design major and this is what she does (actually, it's more like what I make her do, but, you know, it's all the same...)
She goes into her class and comes out with cool little pictures with effects and whatnot to promote my music!  This is the most recent work of hers, and I think it'd be an AHHHHMAAAHHHHZING album cover...that's right.  I've got big dreams.

Now, I think that's just magnificent, because I know I could NEVER do anything NEAR something as incredible as that!
Anyway, I had something else to say, but then we ate dinner and go, figure, I forgot!
So, I'll write soon! Or maybe not, because I have two papers due tomorrow...
:/

"I change my mind...

...that's what it's for."
-Eric Hutchinson

Hahaha...that is so true.  Hey, guess what! I only have two more days left in my HECKtic week!
:D
Tomorrow Cornell notes are due for chapter 14 and 15, along with the test...that should be interesting...oh!  I have to remember to take the online prep-test becacuse he usualy uses three or four questions from there, and hey, that's three or four questions!
:)
I also have my Pre-Calc test tomorrow on chapter 3!
ohhhh my goodness, if you could see my book!  I have post-it notes comin out of the yin-yang on that thing! Only because this section is all about choosing the correct equation for the problem and solving for the unknown variable...it just takes a long time to solve for it.  Gee, that sure did sound a lot easier reading back over it than actually doing it!
haha...I need to get at least a 45 out of 50 in order to get an A in the class.  I think it's a lot harder to get an A in a class when you have a B.  Because you're SO close, you have to only get A's in order to raise it to an A, because it's all about averaging...if you score lower than your percentage in the class, your grade drops a little. And if you score higher, your grade raises by what seems to be the smallest decimal possible.
>.<
You know what annoys me?
When people talk smack about someone you care about right in front of your face.  It REALLY gets to me...yes, continue reading for an example:
At my little sister's soccer game on Sunday, I was sitting a little further away from the field because I had our dog and I didn't want to disrupt anyone with him.  So I'm sitting there watching the game, and all of a sudden these two moms from the other team walk up in front of me to watch the game.  As if blocking my view wasn't enough, they proceeded to talk about how "physical this team is"!  PUUHHH-LEEEAAASE.  If you don't want your kid getting banged up, don't sign them up for competitive sports (my little sister is in a competitive league).  Then, one of my sister's teammates bumped or tripped or did something to one of the other players and these moms go, "OHHH!!! Come on!!!" and they did the little turn around/couple-paces thing as they rolled their eyes.  Of course the referee did not make a call because you have to be aggressive if you want to stand a chance in this game.  Then later, their team had the ball in our eighteen box (that means they're getting ready to shoot for those of you who don't know), and we have a defender who is in the process of stealing the ball away and carrying it up the sideline of the field.  BUT, the other team's player decides that since she can't beat her, push her with two hands in the back!  It was really obvious.  Now, let it be known that I'm not complaining about the push.  I'm complaining about the reaction to the push.  The referee called it a foul and the two (now semi-sunburned) moms go UP. IN. ARMS.  "Ohhh, come. on.  What about that shove over here?!?!"  And you know what I REALLY REALLY REALLY wanted to do?  I wanted to explain to them that because your team now has a scoring opportunity created directly from that blatantly obvious shove, it is a foul.  She made it impossible for our player to defend her goal...and that is her job as a DEFENDER...do ya get it now?!?!?
Now, of course I most certainly did not say that, but boy oh boy, let me tell you!  It took every ounce of self control and frustration containment inside of me not to lash out on those two.  That's not even the end of it...one time our player went down.  I didn't see exactly what happened but I don't trust Momzilla and the Lochness Momster with their commentations.  Once again, the whistle was blown and we got a free kick.  Momzilla walked over to the sideline to ask a fellow parent what had happened only to return, eyes rolling, to say in a "gee, that's a surprise, let's just get all upset about something our child wants to do" voice, "Pshh...she TRIPPED on the ball...yeah! She tripped on the ball.  hm!"  Seriously?  Okay.  Way to set a great example for your children and getting all attitude-y on everybody for something that you absolutely cannot control.
Anyway, I've been needing to vent that, and I feel so much better.  There's more to the story, but I don't feel like typing anymore.  I'm tired.

On the bright side: 4 days until the first day of break!!!
:D

"I didn't wanna call you back...

...cuz I knew that I was wrong...yeah, I knew I was wrong..."
-Demi Lovato ft. Jonas Brothers

So just as  recap of the Sunday and today.
Not good.
Sunday, we travelled a good distance in order to see what I thought was going to be one of Grace's soccer games at 11 in the morning.  This required e waking up in the early morning in order for her to get to the game early, in order to warm up with her team.  Now I was lead to believe that we would go, watch the game, and then return to our humble abode.
yeah.
Not the case.
Fortunately for the team, they got to play a second game at 4 o'clock! UNfortunately for me, I didn't bring any homework with me or anything!
>.<
I was not the happiest camper around.  I would have written on here, but of course there was no wi-fi! ugh.
So we ended up not getting home until almost six o'clock...then I had a TRUCKload of homework to do, but the Amazing Race came on at seven, then Extreme Home Makeover at eight, and my piano was just calling my name...then I finally did some of it.  But THEN, Brothers and Sisters came on at ten!
so you can imagine...
Anyway, I completely underestimated the amount of work that was needed in order to finish my Spanish packet, so I stayed up until one thirty in the morning doing that...I woke up this morning at a decent time...
Then I arrived in Spanish class only to have my teacher tell us that the packet due date was changed to tomorrow because he added an assignment!
I was pretty heated.
I'm tired.
This week is going to be HECK-tic.  I have a Spanish listening comprehension test on Wednesday, a Pre-Calc HP test on Thursday, a compare and contrast essay due Friday in English, a Research paper on Jefferson Davis due on Friday as well for History, and Cornell notes and a Test on chapters 14 & 15 in History on Friday too...oh, and I also have a Chemistry benchmark test on friday.
yip to the pee.
can't you just hear my excitement leap off the screen?!
I thought not.
Ugh.  Anyway, I'm going to brush my teeth and all that jazz as to try and make up for some of the lost sleep from last night!

peace.

"I'm so in love that I acted insane...

and that's the way I loved you..."
-Taylor Swift

Ouch.  Last night at the football game I was standing down on the track by the stands on the little curb thing.  So the stands were directly behind me, and I was attempting to hand my camera to Taylor, so I turned and whadda ya know...being the klutz that I am, I slipped off the cub toward the stands.  So I flung my arm around to catch onto part of the fence thing that people stand by in the stands and there was a protruding support-beam...it was on of those shapes that is kind of like this...  _I_ ...anyway, I was trying to grab something so I wouldn't glamorously trip and fall into the lovely moat of garbage that fell down from underneath the stands, and ended up slamming my poor little elbow into the beam of steel.  It hurt so badly, I couldn't even bend it for a little while.  And now it's one of those invisible bruises.  You know, those bruises that you can't see on your skin, but if you even barely run a pinky over it, you quickly react with a flinch?  Well it's one of those now.
:(

I'm tired and am craving a late-night viewing of the great movie Moulin Rouge!
It took me a couple times of watching it to actually hit me that I liked the movie.  But I guess that could quite possibly be because the first time I saw it, I was going insane trying to figure out where the main character is from..so if you haven't seen it, I'm just going to tell you now.  It's Obi Wan Kenobi.
Of course, my sister decided to let it torture me throughout the entire film, so I was completely distracted. ugh.
Anyway, I'm tired and I have a TON of homework to do tomorrow as I am simultaneously watching my little sister play in a soccer tournament.
wowee.

peace.

Gee, that was a close one!

So the football game definitely DID NOT go as expected.  There was a long period of time when our team was losing.
It was SO scary.
There's something you have to understand about our rivalry.  Our rival school is better at pretty much everything...they have a better music program in general, swim, track, soccer, I'm fairly sure they test higher than us, but my school is just cooler.  That's just how it is.  We beat them at football which is all people really pay any attention to.
So if we lost tonight's game, everything we had against them would be lost.
So for the entire game, actually, (correction from previous statement...refer back to the disclaimer in the beginning of my blogging days if necessary)
It was the fourth quarter, with 40.8 seconds left in the game and we were LOSING, 27-20.  This ABSOLUTELY NEVER happens.  ANd we're all fuhhh-reaking out because we can't lose to this team!!!
So we eventually scored a touchdown and with nineteen seconds left in the game, the score was now 27-26 and we were still trailing.  That was right after we had scored our comeback touchdown so we were going for the two-point conversion.  And guess what. WE GOT IT!
It was such a moment of joy...I think I got it on tape.  I hope so, anyway.
:D
Then, with 4.9 seconds left, the other team tried for a field goal from about half way out, and the JUST BARELY missed it, as the football tapped off the lower crossbar and the crowd grunted in unison.
it was INtense.
Also, I screamed really loud a few times, so I'm thinking that that didn't have a very good affect on it.  It feels like my throat is drying up every time I take a breath...not very fond of it.
:/
I'm extremely exhausted.  I want to sleep, and I want to be clean, but I don't want to put forth the effort in which it takes to get clean.  I just want my teeth to be brushed and my hair to be washed.  I don't want to have to physically get up, move over, and do all that jazz...yes, I'm very very lazy.  IF I can, I'll try to upload a short little video from the ending of the game...IF.

that's all for now, folks!

peace.

"Oh, well I guess we made it...

...or at least we made it this far, and it all looks smooth from here..."
-Relient K

I went to school today!
:D
and the rally was amazing, as usual.  Our school has a tendency to be pretty darn amazing like that.  We always have really cool rallies and functions!  I love it.
I'm still sick, but LOADS better than yesterday and Wednesday!  Tomorrow I'm going to a one-year late, belated quinceaƱera.  It's a mix of both of her cultures! hahaa...
tomorrow is also one of my other friends' 16th birthday!
:)
just a celebratory day, I guess.  One more week of school and it's Thanksgiving break!
:D
I'm in a very smiley face-typing mood right now.
:)
So one of my best friends, Taylor is about to come over so she can illegally drive me to our big football game tonight! hahaa...it's really not that bad. She's really close to her one year mark, and she's a VERY good driver...and my mom's okay with it!
Every third quarter we stop playing our instruments (trumpet) and go eat burritos...there are absolutely MOUTH-WATERING.  seriously.

ugh.
I really don't care for runny noses.  They are some of the most obnoxious things ever.  Because no matter what, your nose runs.  This is why I REALLY don't like them.  Because you're gonna have to get up, get a tissue, and attract a BUNCH of unwanted attention your way in the middle of class for something that isn't the most elegant or jokable thing.  AWKWARRRD.  Just for the record, I blow my nose like an elephant takes a shower.
Anyway, I have a runny nose and it is literally about to chop my nose off.
Lotioned tissues are the way to go! they make all the difference.
:)
Okay, I'm going to enjoy my quality time with Taylor!
;)

"Oh, oh, oh it's magic...

you kno-uh-hooow."
-Pilot

Today I stayed home from school.  Until 2:50 when I left to go pick up my little sister.  Then I had marching band practice for the big game tomorrow when we play our cross-town rivals in football!  (but we ALWAYS win...it's really no surprise.)  Of course, I couldn't play because my head was pounding and I was shaking.  But I'm in the front row so I thought I should probably know what I'm doing.  haha.  We're playing "I Want You Back," and "Birdland," and both of the schools' fight songs.
:)
hopefully I'll be well enough to go to school tomorrow, but who knows.  My head is still not in tip-top condition, and I can feel my sickness moving to my throat.  Not the ideal spot for someone who likes to sing a lot.
hahaa.
Anyway, I have a lot of homework to do and I would like to watch Grey's tonight!

As if my day couldn't get any worse...

In the last post, I had typed an extremely elaborate depiction of an awkward moment that happened to me last week, and it was saved as a draft, and I don't know why.  So then I clicked "publish" draft.  And that's all that showed up!
I am NOT about to type that all again.  It's really a huge bummer.  I took so much time choosing the right words, and re-wording, etc.
AND I'm sick.
>.<

not a good day.
:(

"Patience is a virtue."
-Mrs. Miller, my second grade teacher
(I know she didn't originate it, but that' where I first heard it!)

"Wow. that was awkward."

That describes my life.  Everyday something happens to me.  I'm an awkward walker.  I'm an extremely awkward hugger.  And I'm an awkward speaker.  As promised, today I will share with you

"Tranquil as a forest...

but a fire, within--yessuuhhh!"
-Aj Rafael

he is really funny. And talented.  He's just great.

I strongly advise that you watch this video...multiple times.  It's good for the soul.  And don't turn it off halfway through because you think you've seen enough, because trust me.  It gets better.
:D
anyway, I just thought I'd try and brighten your day with that little bit of amusement.
I'm doing homework right now, so I took a break to share that with you...because I know it made MY day.

"Mmmmm, it's always better when we're together...

...yeah, we'll look at the stars when we're together..."
-Jack Johnson

Tonight it's about eleven twenty, and I'm usually up and about finishing up homework and whatnot.  But for some STRANGE AND DERANGED reason beyond my comprehension, I am exhausted.  I even had coffee ice cream (which ALWAYS makes me stay up) and I've been eating cream puffs, and peanut M&Ms, and I had a mini ice cream bar!

NOTICE:
do not be alarmed by what appears to be my diet.  I'm just listing the junk food to show that I shouldn't be tired.  Don't worry, my mom feeds me nutritious food, unlike she turns on the heater.

Anyway, the point is, I really really WANT to stay up late tonight, and start Moulin Rouge! with my siter at approx. 1:43am, and then go stargazing, but I can't.
:(
it's so much better when we're together.
miss you, sis!
(that may be the first time in history I've ever called my sister "sis"!)

And I would also like to give a SHOUT-OUT to all the Veterans and men and women on active duty.  I appreciate your work more than you know or ever can know, just because I don't know how I would ever be able to express the magnitude of gratitude.
:)
(HAHA! That just so happened to rhyme!...also, I tend to put a lot of stuff in parentheses.)
Also another fun fact about me:
Someday I'm going to make a shirt that reads...
WARNING:
I attract awkward moments.
because it's true...but those are some stories I'll save for tomorrow!
:D

till then!

peace.

I just wanted to say...

that ice cream is my weakness.

and I have officially gotten the hiccups eleven times today, no exaggeration.
ugh.

"When life gives you lemons..."

the average young teenage girl would finish this quote with, "...throw them back and yell, 'I WANT THE JONAS BROTHERS!'"

and I would have to say that I can occasionally have my moments when I fit into that category.  It is embarrassing sometimes, but it's totally worth it.
:P
I like being an average teenage girl...except I'm really not that average.  I'm weird. and strange. and loud. and abnormally CRAZY.  but, hey, that's just who I am.  :)
I happen to enjoy making people laugh and smile.  It really brings me great joy although sometimes, I will say, I don't think it's that funny.
For example, the other day in History, I was being my normal abnormal self, and covering my face and speaking in a deep creeper-ish voice, and in mid-sentence, I would sporadically remove my hands from my face and continue my sentence in my normal voice.  For some reason, I continued this for quite some time, and we got on the subject of the movie "Batman."  So, naturally, I said, "I've never seen 'Batman' before."
Only, I was doing the weird voice-hand thing, so in my deep and covered voice I said, "I've never seen--" and proceeded to finish the sentence randomly with my normal voice, "Batman' before."
Now, I really didn't think it was that funny at all...not any funnier than anything else I've ever done, but for some reason, Haley (a quite pleasant friend of mine who sits across the table from me) starting BUSTING OUT in loud, gaffa-ing laughter.  She then said, "Do it again!" and me, being the people-pleaser that I am...reluctantly, agreed after she insisted so many times in her one sentence.  (meaning, OF COURSE I DID IT AGAIN!)--

AHHHH!!!! Wow.  that was an INTENSE moment.  So right now I'm home alone with my little siter, and my very calm dog, Titan.  There is something you have to understand about this dog before I continue the story: he never barks, or growls. EVER.
So I saw headlights through our glass door, and thought nothing of it.  Then, Titan started growling at the door.  Mind you, all the lights through the room to get to the door were off from where I was sitting.  His fur starts poofing up down his back.  He did a soft and low bark and I kinda got freaked out.  Then, he started barking even a couple more times.  So I got up and said, "Go get it, Ti!" and he started frolicking toward the door while maintaining his deep growl.  So I walked up to the door, stuck my face against the glass and saw...NOTHING.  Then, I walked back to the kitchen table, turning on the lights on my way back.
:)
That's it...end of intense story.
:(

--back to the funny story.  I did my little Batman phrase again and Haley is laughing uncontrollably.  She then continued to laugh uncontrollably until multiple tears, that's right, percipitation of the eyes, started rolling down her giddy face.  It was a sight to see!  And just really really funny.  So after class I walked her to her locker (located just two lockers north of mine) and insured everyone that they were tears of laughter, not sadness.  And I also apologized for causing her minutes of explanation among her friends. haha...I actually witnessed it.  One of her good friends, walked up to her, made a puppy dog face and said, "Awww, Hales, are you okay?" and hugged her.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share an entertaining story...
Is it just me, or do my stories tend to get interrupted by "dog and door" stories?
;)

"How much is this going to be?"...

"Have a bite...ten million dollars.  Now you have to pay me, because you had a bite."
-HILARIOUS Mac commercial

Today I went to the taping for our local channel, in which I performed my original song.
(which can be found on youtube by searching "Rebecca Summer" and it's the second video that pops up.)
Feel free to comment it, rate it, and subscribe!
:)
Anyway, it went well except for the ONE incident when my voice cracked. ugh.  I think it's a personal problem, because I don't think that happens to everyone.  Just me.  My voice cracks when I'm singing all too often, and it really bothers me.  A LOT.
anyway, I think for the most part, it went very well...and to celebrate, my mom treated us to In-n-Out!
WAHOO!
I love that place.
:D

Alright, I should probably get going on my homework...haha.

"I'm not a supermodel...

...I still, eat McDonald's.  Baby, that's just me."
-Demi Lovato

I haven't written in some time, and I am sorry for that.  Because I know the first thing you do everyday is wake up and say, "OMGOODNESS I HAVE TO SEE IF SUMMER CITY HAS POSTED ANYTHING NEW!  Her life is just so entertaining, riveting, and full of unknown shinanigans!"
hahaa...NOT.
But, I don't really have anything to say except, yesterday I was babysitting for different neighbors than last time, and I was typing something for this blog and then my internet connection was lost...along with that blog.
:(
and, of course, I cannot remember what it was I was planning on saying.  You should all check out my youtube page!
support is most highly appreciated.
;)

that's me!
My aunts are visiting and I cleaned my severely messed up room in record time!  Although I will say that it is probably a violation of safety code 4750384 to even come within 2 inches of my closet door.  HAHA!  That's what those things were invented for!  NOT for holding clothes in an organized fashion, but holding STUFF when you have collected too much and don't have a place to put the things you won't ever need...or use.
Alright, I'm out for now!

That's a really great song.

This morning I was so cold, I ironed every piece of clothing before I put it on.  It's true.  I even ironed my denim jeans and my camisole!  I was freeeeezing.  It just keeps getting colder, and I keep getting colder.  As I said earlier, I only like it cold when I can get warm.  I can't get warm.  And that is upsetting.  BECAUSE ME MOTHER WILL NOT TURN ON THE HEATER.  ugh.  We're "saving money from our PG&E bill..." man, oh man!
I'd rather not...
Anyway, today was Paul Kevin Jonas II's twenty-first birthday!  So today, I modeled my outfit after him.  I borrowed a friend's fake brown leather jacket, I wore a white tank top underneath it, and I had a black and white scarf that I wore.  I wore some not too skinny skinny jeans. And I couldn't find my black flats, so I just wore some non-matching shoes.  It bothered me all day.  If you were my sister, you would say I have "OCD matchiness." BAHAHA!!!
Long story from Black Friday last year.
Anyway, I'm watching Dancing with the Stars right now and Lionel Richie is performing "Dancing on the Ceiling"...it's alright...not a huge fan.

Okay, I'm going to clean my room because my aunt's are coming tomorrow!
excitement.

"It doesn't hurt your eyesight...

to look at the bright side of things!"
-Unknown
That is also, some very wise advice.  For those of you who are happy that Barack Obama was elected the next President of the United States, I can imagine how elated you are!  And for those of you who were in favor of John McCain, that's some advice you should consider.  Look at it this way...it can only last eight years at the very very most!
:)
Just trying to pour a little sweet sugar on that sour subject...
I really should go to bed, but I wanted to say that while it was still the EXTREMELY HISTORICAL day of November 4, 2008.  Wow, this one's for the books...for real.
And I also wanted to say it before I forgot...because that would happen to me.

and tomorrow is Paul Kevin Jonas II's twenty-first birthday!
:)

ELECTION day today!!!
intense.
Of course, I don't have the privilege of voting just yet, but, boy if only I could.
I'm not one to say that I can tolerate politics very well, but I know what I stand for, and I know what the candidates stand for...as far as propositions, and measures (the lettered things that hardly anybody hears about)...I just don't know.
I reeeeaaallllllyyyy don't like politics.  It ruins things.  Why can't we all just get along?

Some words of advice:
The three things not to bring up in open conversation are money, religion and politics.
good to know...I've seen people get into some pretty nasty arguments concerning any of the three, and I'm pretty sure that's what "they" are supposed to teach you as a child...I never learned it.
But somehow, I've made it this far and managed not to make any of those mistakes...LUCKILY.
:D

Alright, well...we had a mock election at school today that I totally and COMPLETELY forgot about.  :(
but I bet you can guess who won by a landslide...Obama.
I think most young people are pro-Obama and it's mainly adults who give support to McCain.  I'm not saying that no young people support McCain, or that no adults support Obama.  It's obvious that Obama has a very large support group, and McCain is the underdog.  It just seems that youthful people who are not able to vote tend to lean towards Obama and Biden.

Just an observation.
:)
Alrughty, well, I guess we'll find out sooner or later who the next president of the United States of America is!
(and if I'll be moving to Canada or not... :P)

peace.

"Meh...

..."
-a random person.
So it's still pouring outside as far as I can tell, and I feel extreeeeeemely lethargic.  I just want to sleep.  And curl up into a ball and get underneath about one hundred blankets.  I told my mom, "Mom, it's kinda cold in here..."
Naturally, a nurturing person would say, "Okay, honey! I'll go turn on the heater."
BUUUT no.
It was more like this, "Put some more layers on."
and then she walked out of the room.
:(
EPIPHANY!!! hot chocolate.  That will help me get warm and cozy...and want to go to bed even more! hahaa...too bad.  I don't think I have any homework due tomorrow anyway.
Although I would choose that the weather be cold over the weather being excruciatingly hot, I don't actually like, being physically cold.  I have been told before, that I have naturally good circulation, so my body is already warmer than most.  However, I only choose cold over hot because I like to get warm.  Heat is too unappreciated when it's hot a the time.  This is why I like it cold.  I like it cold, so I can get warm...and cozy...and firplace-y...and hot chocolatey.
:P
I know there was something else I was going to say, but as usual...I forgot.
So anyway, I'm about to fall asleep here, so I'm out!

peace.

"When it rains...

it pours."
-William Shakespeare
(but probably more well-known from 50 cent)
I am babysitting right now!  I have no problem with babysitting, whatsoever...it just saddens me that the kids went to bed almost an hour ago, and the younger one is asleep.  The older, however is entertaining herself by singing little tunes and making her stuffed Halloween kitten dance around her crib.  It is quite entertaining...I can't see her, but I can hear her, and it's pretty funny.
She also tells stories, correcting herself when she gets the story wrong...how adorable is that!?!

Anyway, I sit here and write to you from the couch of my neighbors because of one reason.  My friends are at a concert--

AHH!
so Grace just got home from church and came to visit me...of course, she lolly-gags outside of the door while I tell her to leave her dripping umbrella on the outside of the house, and low and behold...the cat that the dog, Tucker, loves to chase is right outside.
Grace says, "There's a cat out here..." and moves aside so that I can have the privelege of seeing this cat...
well that went TERRIBLY bad.  The dog ran in through some bushes, (mind you, it is dark and STILL pouring during this grand affair), makes a squealing noise, and is nowhere to be found.  This would happen to me.
So there I am, standing in the rain, paging throughout the few-house range, "Tucker!  Come 'ere boy!  TUCKEEERRRR!"
and I look back and Grace is standing at the still open door, looks at me, and says, "What?!"
Then my mother yells from across the street, "He's on the neighbor's front porch!"
So, I had to walk down the walkway in the pouring rain with no shoes on, and search for this black cocker spaniel.  I only found him because I identified his glowing eyes in the darkness, and then called his name.  He ran around the car in the neighbor's driveway to yet another bush.  I bet you can guess what he did there...that's right, he marked his territory.  While I'm STILL standing there in the rain!  With no shoes! ugh.
Next I lead the conveniently un-collared Tucker back to the house, in which he shook several times to dry off.  I told Grace to get a towel from our house to dry him off.
She came back and her entry had slightly improved, but there was still more lolly-gagging than I would have preferred.
Now the dog is dry, Grace is punching a balloon in my face, and I am wet.  and typing.
what a night.

--for the band that was at our party last night, and I don't want to do my homework.
:P
I was completely and totally going to go to the concert until I decided that babysitting was just an all-around better choice.  I get paid, and I get to do my homework!
can I get a "WOOHOO!" ?
haha...you know you all just did that.

Allrighty, current event which will most likely be about the crazy presidential election, here I come!

peace.

Wow...

talk about technologically challenged!

this is what was supposed to be the last blog...

wow.
the party last night was INcredible!!! The band came, and set up.  The party was supposed to start at seven o'clock, and be seven thirty, there were only about fifteen people there, including the party-throwers!
I was sooo nervous.  I was afraid that no one would ahow up and that would be really embarrassing if we didn't have anybody come and the band was playing just for us...but then they said to just tell them when to play, and once thy started, everyone crammed into the room and it was just awesome.
NO DRUGS and NO ALCOHOL!...success.
:)
I was also really happy that people respected our rules and it was honestly, just some good. CLEAN. fun.
the band was amazing and everyone loved them!  Then Allyse and I were selling CD's after and we sold twenty-seven...that's pretty good...
And, also, after the minimum day, I went over to Allyse's house as I mentioned earlier, and the song "Apologize" by OneRepublic was on in the car, so then I figured it out on the piano and I was really excited...because I don't know why I ever DIDN'T learn that song...I love it so much!
and then, the band said they were going to do a cover song...guess what it was.
APOLOGIZE!!!
It was fate.
;)
But the entire party went really well, and everyone loved the band and followed them around and kept asking for autographs!
awesome...it was REALLY good stuff.
A lot of other stuff happened that was really good, like Kelsi, made so many baked goods and everything...it was amazing.
And that's ll that I can really say, that's worth saying...I'll talk to you all later!
:)

peace.

p.s.  It's POURING rain!
and I absolutely love it.
:)
